This cartoon has Popeye and Sinbad (Bluto) competing for the title of Extra Special Kind Of Fellow i.e. Have you noticed that this 16 minute cartoon had 2 animators (at 30 frames a second), as opposed to current cartoons which appear to run at 2 frames a second (especially the anime cartoons which probably induce epileptic seizures in anyone who watches them) and require a couple of hundred animators? Very strange! All the good stuff is there the funny, under-the-breath comments, the rich animation style, and the crazy storyline. This is one of the three longer, color Popeye cartoons done with the early set of characters.
